Erin Condren Vertical Planner Review

The new year is coming quickly! Do you know what that means? New planners! I am going to review the 2015-16 Erin Condren Life Planner.

(If you are are not familiar with Erin Condren planners, I will be linking an Introduction to Erin Condren Life Planners very soon!)

There are many small changes that make a big impact this year. So, now that you are familiar with the ECLP, lets begin the review.

Here is a list of things you will find inside your Erin Condren 2015-2016 Life Planner:

  • Interchangeable Cover
  • Colorful Sheet of Vellum
  • New Quote + 2015-2016 Yearly Calendar
  • Note Page + Quote Before Monthly
  • Monthly Goals Page
  • Monthly View
  • Weekly View
  • Notes Section
  • 2017 Calendar
  • New Quote
  • Stickers
  • Keep it Together Folder + Perpetual Calendar
  • Zip Pouch

Coil

The very first thing I noticed when my planner came out of the box was the coil size. If you had the 2014-15 planner you probably know how annoying it was  to always have your planner cover sticking up. This is no longer a problem this year with the larger coil size!

Interchangeable Covers

The covers are still interchangeable, which I love. It makes it so easy to change styles.  This feature was available with last year’s planner as well. I did notice after a year of use that the corners of my cover had frayed a bit. I contacted Erin Condren Support about this. To learn how to fix a frayed cover, check out “How to Fix Frayed Edges” by clicking here.

Monthly Goals

Weekly Layout

The biggest change, to me, lies in the weekly layout. I always decorate my spreads with washi tape and stickers. A few of my biggest trouble spots have been tossed out this year. The polka dotted line that would shine through my washi is gone. Also, the problematic mini monthly calendar is now a box to write in your Thankful Thoughts. Erin Condren also left off many of the labels that were present in the previous planner. Morning, Day, and Night are no more. You can label the boxes to match your daily schedule.
